Sherry Kington
After graduating from MSSU with a Bachelor’s Degree in English, I began working for a marketing and graphic design firm as a copywriter in Northwest Arkansas. My experiences writing in the business world only strengthened my lifelong desire to become a teacher. Five years later, I decided to go back to school for my Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT). I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2012, and I have been teaching middle school English since that time. My family relocated to Alabama from NWA in the summer of 2017, and I am thrilled to teach at PPMS. Outside of school, my two daughters keep me busy, and I spend any free time I have reading, volunteering, or walking aimlessly around Target.
